We’ve won the North West’s Best Heating Installer Award
We have been announced as the North West’s Best Heating Installer 2017.
The Heating Installer Awards aims to recognise the outstanding and essential work completed every day by UK installers. Earlier this month, a panel of heating experts met to officially judge the entries submitted from across the UK, in order to decide the regional winners.
Facing tough competition from a record number of entries received from the region, judges crowned Irlam the North West’s Best Heating Installer 2017. Our stand-out entry impressed the judges with his demonstration of exceptional professionalism, glowing testimonials and numerous examples of going over and above for the customer.
Speaking of his win, Nick Irlam, said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be announced as the North West’s Best Heating Installer 2017. Achieving the runner up spot for the region in 2016 was a great achievement, but I’m so happy to have gone one step further. With so much competition in the industry, it’s difficult to communicate exactly what you do so I wanted to put my all into my entry to the competition, so the judges knew everything about me. It’s paid off! I hope the local community can get behind me and vote for me to be the UK’s Best Heating Installer!”
We will now go head-to-head with nine other regional winners, competing for the title of the UK’s Best Heating Installer 2017.
Those wanting to help us win the overall title of UK’s Best Heating Installer 2017, should visit www.heatinginstallerawards.co.uk to vote.
The judging panel consisted of Chris Ingram, managing director of Continental Underfloor; Mark McGettigan, editor of Installer Magazine; Samantha Canfield, marketing manager of Graham the Plumbers’ Merchant; Dennis Hollingworth, of Hollingworth Heating Ltd and last year’s winner of the Heating Installer Awards; Bjorn Sejr Nielsen, marketing director of Danfoss; Kamlesh Vadukul, heating solutions sales manager of LG; Glenn Scholfield, senior technical support manager of Pegler Yorkshire; Neil Davis, trade marketing director of Sentinel Performance Solutions and Steve Keeton, marketing and technologies director of Vaillant Group UK.
Judge Steve Keeton, representing Vaillant, said: “This is the second year Vaillant has sponsored the Heating Installer Awards, and the quality of entries from the North West has impressed me once again. The judging day – though tough – was a brilliant reminder of just how special the UK heating industry is, and the North West’s installers are playing a crucial part in this.
“Nick’s entry was outstanding. The time and effort he had gone to, to show the judges exactly why he deserved to win was commendable. His dedication to the industry and desire to provide a winning service can’t be challenged. I wish Nick every luck in the competition.”
The awards launched in 2016, asking tradespeople to submit examples of excellent work carried out over the last 12 months in order to shine a light on industry champions who often go unnoticed. The winners from each region will now compete to be crowned the UK’s Best Heating Installer, which will be announced at Installer2017 in May.
Those wishing to find out more about the regional winners and vote in the national heat should visit www.heatinginstallerawards.co.uk. The deadline for votes is 9pm on 30th April 2017. Full terms and conditions can be found on the website.
