Irlam UK is a firm of heating and plumbing engineers and specialists based in North Lancashire, covering projects across the whole of Lancashire and Cumbria.
From the start, the ethos behind Irlam UK has been a commitment to quality and innovative solutions. We do not simply fit ‘off the peg’ units, but work with our clients from our integral design service through every aspect of project-management to completion and aftercare assistance. This has led to many successful projects and recommendations, and enabled us to build our business year on year, taking on bigger and bigger projects. However, we never lose sight of the detail – that one insight that can make the difference between “It’s good” and “It’s incredible!” We are proud to say our commitment to the design element of your system has won us commissions including historic and listed buildings, and awards recognising our bespoke, beautiful results.
The company retains its independence, having no commission or partnership with any one manufacturer. We deal directly across a range of suppliers, having built up excellent business relationships across the years. This enables us to choose from a large portfolio of potential equipment, meaning we can truly recommend the best systems for your individual situation. We place great emphasis on the design of a system. Our designers relish the challenge of finding a solution to fit your situation, whether that be industrial, retail, commercial or domestic, or with special requirements such as architectural listing or healthcare requirements.
Choosing to base the business in the North-West means we can provide our customers with the best service, with no job time lost through travel time. It also means we can commit to being there when we say we will, or reaching you quickly if the need arises, as we appreciate circumstances, plans and requirements change. We usually invite commissions from Manchester to Carlisle, however, if you are based just outside this area, do not hesitate to contact us.
Nick Irlam is still, very much, the driving force of the company, living with his family in the North Lancashire area. He takes great responsibility for quality control and the direction of the company. With his many years of expertise he is often deeply involved in the design and project management. The firm consists of a growing team of experienced engineers. We have the flexibility to build close relationships with our clients, but also the team required to complete the installation as you want it.
We are happy to say we may not offer you the initially cheapest-looking solution, as Nick’s initial pledge and integrity continues to be our watchword. Instead, our engineers will always offer what we consider to be the best; and our clients find this does ultimately mean the best for costs, too. At Irlam UK we don’t believe in ‘making do’, or using short-term fixes that will lead to higher inconvenience and costs in the longer term. Most modern systems now are so energy efficient that an initial investment will lead to cost savings over the life of the system.
